Garden Tractor

The most important aspect for any garden tractor is reliability. If it’s constantly breaking down and needing repair it often becomes a fixture in the shed or garage rather than a useful tool. Efficiency and size is important around residential areas as well, if it’s too big and loud it can be overkill for the garden and too loud for the neighborhood.

Durability is another important aspect for a good garden tractor. They should be able to take some damage and keep on working. The simpler the configuration of the tractor the better in most cases. They are easier to repair and require less maintenance. Most are designed to be used once or twice weekly and last for years.

A commercial garden tractor is a better built machine than residential machines which are mostly used for trimming grass. They often have a variety of loaders and possibly a power take off feature for powering external machines such as wood chippers or more mowing blades. They are also built to be used everyday and less prone to break down. This also makes them much more expensive but for certain applications it is definitely worth it.
